This course introduces primary learners to the science of growing crops and rearing livestock with practical, Botswana-based examples. Students explore the importance of agriculture (food, income, draught power, raw materials, manure), how agriculture supports our communities and ceremonies, and how challenges like HIV & AIDS, drought, and environmental degradation affect productivity. Learners also discover careers & training pathways, food production and security in Botswana, farming systems (arable, pastoral, mixed), commercial vs. subsistence farming, and the branches of agriculture. Short lessons, audio notes, and quick quizzes make learning simple and engaging.
